It all started when...

It was one of those moments that you never forget. A simple question that would change everything I had come to believe about myself. I didn't know back then that I was unhappy, I just didn't realise that I could be happier. I took each day as it came, relishing those fleeting moments of contentment and ignoring the times when I felt that there must be more to life than this. 

Although I grew up in England, I always loved spending time my grandparents in Scotland. As the train rolled over the Forth Bridge, excitement and anticipation would build, knowing the freedoms and escapism that awaited me. 

I am a mother, wife and teacher, beyond those roles, I am many more things...
